On December 8, 2017, the Intellectual Property Department of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine published a draft Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine On Introduction of Amendments to the Resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of December 27, 2001 #1756 and of December 23, 2004 #1716 On the Order of Payment of Official Fees for Actions Related to Intellectual Property Rights Protection in Ukraine (official fees).

The amounts of official fees have not changed for the last 10 years. In general, the official fees will be increased substantially. For example, the official fee for filing a patent application will increase twice, for filing a request for examination in essence – twice, for filing a trademark application – 4 times. The electronic version of the Draft is placed for public discussion on the website of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine and can be viewed here (in Ukrainian): Draft official fees.
