WAR IN UKRAINE: OUR TEAM CONTINUES TO WORK
As you are aware on February 24th, 2022 the Russian Federation has begun active military actions in Ukraine, including in Kyiv. Therefore, the Ukrainian government has imposed martial law in our country. As of now, martial law is declared to last until April 26, 2022, but the extension is still possible.
The Patent Office of Ukraine (Ukrpatent) continues its operation, having its employees out of most dangerous territories too and accepting and issuing documents in electronic form only. All services in the field of intellectual property rights provided by the Patent Office of Ukraine (Ukrpatent) became available again in electronic form after a short suspension of some services due to martial law.
Please be advised that our team members have left the most dangerous territories in Ukraine and are currently located either in the Western parts of Ukraine or in Europe working remotely and keeping constant contact with each other.
Our computer and docketing systems, as well as the electronic filing system, have been adjusted for remote work since the times of the COVID pandemic back in 2020, and we can properly work from any place in the world
